This is totally normal. As a vegan you consume a lot more fiber than a meat eater so your body is probably just getting used to the changes
So normal I was the same
TMI but I used to go maybe once every 4 days now it’s about every 1-2 days ❤️
If you’re eating predominantly Whole Foods, and not vegan junk food, chances are your fiber went from 10-12 grams per day to somewhere around the recommended daily ~25-30 grams. Vegetables/fruits/whole grains/nuts/seeds/beans/legumes are high in fiber, particularly insoluble fiber which acts like a broom inside your intestines and sweeps things out. Most of the time, when people increase their daily fiber intake, it should be done gradually so they don’t have as many GI issues. However, don’t worry, your new diet will change the gut bacteria living in your gut and they will begin to adapt to the new high fiber foods. It’s these gut bacteria that “eat” the fiber from the whole foods and more will colonize your gut to handle the new diet fairly quickly.
