Hi Stephanie, I too sometimes eat food that isn’t vegan (on accident of course). I feel guilty obviously, that’s normal, but you have to remember that you eating a cookie that has egg in it, or a dressing on a salad that you are unsure of the ingredients, is not going to make animals suffer. You are already doing so much by being vegan, and everybody makes mistakes .

avoid eating fake animal products. These just add to the confusion – because they’re not really vegan – as they perpetuate the norm of eating animals to where you’re too confused to know what’s what and accidentally eat something not vegan. Then you slip back to eating animal products. To avoid all this – just avoid anything that looks like an animal product and then where’s the worry? Take it as a lesson to learn from!

If you worry – then you can always make your own food!
