You come home to find your non-vegan roommate frying bacon in one of your pans; what do you do with said pan after this?

you give it to them as a gift and hope they make up for it some other way. Just kidding – you wash it and continue to use it and if it tastes like bacon – think of it as a gift in the form of a learning lesson and find a way to get by without needing a pan or at least hiding it really well.
