Difficult question. Best thing to do is stay informed and keep asking questions. That’s what I’m trying to do, I’ve been forced to take a drug called Abilify Maintena which has doubtless been animal tested. Keep badgering your psychiatrist (or whatever) for the truth. Many of them are absolutely liars but I have some mentors (Dr Peter Breggin and Dr Thomas Szasz) whom I like to use as standard-bearers for the truth. Contact me anytime to get moral support and never feel like you are alone on this matter.

Hi, yeh i believe many are. Im lucky and dont ‘need’ to take medication for any ailment, but we all get headaches etc etc. For me its necessity, if i can do with out a tablet to get rid of my headache, for example, then i will do without it. If i cant then i will take one. Its like the old question ‘if you were stuck on a desert island with a pig would you eat it’ . For me my necessity for survival would dictate i eat it because i want to get home and see my family again.

If you can do without tablets then try it, if not then take them but certainly dont beat yourself up about it
