Honestly I think it really depends on the vegan you ask, but by textbook definition eating those eggs you wouldn’t be vegan. Chickens do not produce eggs for us, rather its a females menstruation and all that jazz; if we didn’t remove those eggs its said that chickens will eat their eggs for their own consumption and replenishment. My personal opinion would be its ok but your not really vegan, while their might not be physical abuse, we cannot know exactly what the chickens are thinking when their eggs are removed.

If I’m honest I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating them as they are unfertilised chicks. There is something about eating them that makes me feel weird.

If you know for a fact there is no cruelty or forcing being put in place I think that is the best type of egg you can get

But I wouldn’t consider it a full vegan diet and it is still dairy ❤️

But you don’t want the eggs going to waste especially with it being your grandparents I’d maybe say if you’re wanting to be vegan then only eat them when they can’t sell them etc

Vegan doesn’t always have to equal no dairy/ meat you can live a plant asked lifestyle or try and live a vegan one that doesn’t make you any less of a good person
