Should I pay to enter zoo, to take animal liberation photos? | Ask Vegans Anything | Totally Vegan Buzz
Ask Vegans AnythingCategory: QuestionsMy husband does photography for animal liberation/ awareness groups and he is interested in going to our city zoo to take photographs of the animals from a “vegan/ animal lib” point of view. And to get some comparison photos for social media activism. Obviously we don’t want to support the zoo financially but we don’t have the option to do anything illegal at this point in our lives (i.e. sneaking in). Just a bit of a moral dilemma, and thoughts/suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Excellent story. That Vegan Couple did a podcast with We Animals Media (weanimalsmedia.org) and I think the idea is that journos may be able to ask around for free opportunities to visit fharms and slaughterhouses. There is a growing amount of this stuff online and I hope you are inspired to join the throng (and the fun). At some stage you may consider whether acting illegally whilst keeping safe is the right thing to do still, as this will certainly present more opportunities. Anyways, best of luck.
