Absolutely not. This is a great opportunity for you to provide her with the gift of a vegan cake which is at least as delicious as a nonvegan one. Shop around, visit your local cruelty-free shop or equivalent health food shop and either make your own vegan cake or buy one from a reputable store. Dont contribute to animal cruelty whatsoever!

Yes, you do what you have to do you’re doing more than most people, try and get one from a local bakery or something rather than main stream because that will increase demand for them ❤️

Are you satisfied just to call yourself "vegan" ?!! First ask yourself what is the difference between a vegan and animal product eater ? If you help to increase demand of "animal product" , call yourself non-vegan !!!

My cousin made me a DELICIOUS cake for my birthday which just so happened to be vegan! I also tried recreating the cake for my dad’s birthday and everyone was impressed by how it was not only tasty but vegan as well. The ingredients are simple, cheap and it doesn’t take much time/effort overall! (might cut the sugar in half though)

Making your own cake might seem like a pain but it’s not as painful as it would be for the animals having to pay for the other option.

Trust me on this, this is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.

I’d say it’s a great chance to show them how great vegan food can be so I’d get them a vegan cake and also you can have some of it right ?

But if they are really dead set on a regular cake then I wouldn’t say it’s the worst thing in the world to do for them
