
Beyond Meat won recognition for its Beyond Steak product.
Beyond Meat has scooped a major award for its latest innovation – Beyond Steak.
The plant-based seared tips won the prestigious 2023 FABI Award (Food and Beverage Innovation) from the National Restaurant Association for breaking new ground in creativity and taste.
Made with fava bean protein, Beyond Steak, provides a juicy, meaty taste and authentic flavor profile and is perfect for sandwiches, bowls, salads, stir fries, fajitas, tacos, and more.
It is low in saturated fat and has 21g of protein, no cholesterol, no GMOs, and no added antibiotics or hormones.
‘Revolutionary food and groundbreaking flavours’
FABI honours products that revolutionise food and beverages with groundbreaking flavours, ingredients, creativity, and profit potential. It praised the product for its “tender” bite and perfectly “caramelised crust.”

Other awards
The latest accolade isn’t the only one Beyond Meat has collected over the years. It has been previously recognized among TIME’s Best Inventions of 2022 as “A Healthier Steak.” It has also received the FABI Award for a range of best-in-class products, beginning with the original Beyond Burger in 2017, to Beyond Beef, Beyond Breakfast Sausage, Beyond Chicken Tenders, and more.
Beyond Steak is available at Walmart and Kroger stores and other US retail locations throughout the United States.
