The one-of-a-kind trainers were created to celebrate the launch of Future Farms’ new Burger 4.0.

Future Farms, a plant-based company, has created a unique, vegan couture running shoe that looks like cheeseburgers.

The mouth-watering limited edition trainer was made in collaboration with sneaker artist, Matt B Customs, to celebrate the launch of Future Farms’ new Burger 4.0.

According to Future Farms, the new 4.0 formula is high in protein, has less salt and fat than before, and it’s juicier and tastier than ever.

The plant-based company’s innovative collaboration aims to showcase how plant-based foods are good for the environment and can be a lot of fun too.

The one-of-a-kind running shoe is a true work of art, with a cheeseburger colourway complete with tomato slices and a bed of lettuce.

Drawing inspiration from the well-known fast food chain, Matt B Customs used vegan paint to meticulously hand paint the design onto the eco-friendly Hylo sneakers, producing the finished product within just a few days.

“Part of the beauty of customising is bringing things together that wouldn’t usually be seen before – and this project is a perfect example of that,” he said.

“We wanted to create something that looked both mouth-watering and illusive, but still housing it within a running shoe that’s clearly functional, and that’s why we left some elements of the shoe untouched.

“I loved working on this project, and it’s the first time we’ve wanted to take a bite out of something we’ve created.”

Future Farm X Flora Beverly

Future Farm also enlisted the help of ultra-marathon runner and proud vegan, Flora Beverly, to launch the new trainers.

Beverly is known for her dedication to promoting plant-based foods and was thrilled to be a part of this exciting project.

“Everyone knows having enough protein in the diet is important for fitness and muscle growth,” Flora said

“As a vegan, it is great to find a plant-based meat substitute that can help you easily fit in enough protein day to day, whilst still tasting amazing.

“The Future Burger 4.0 is a staple in my diet while I’m training.”

Only two pairs of shoes exist, and one of them was listed on eBay. The shoe was auctioned off for £92.00 and all proceeds from the sale were forwarded to the Rainforest Alliance.

The Future Burger 4.0 is available in Tesco stores nationwide.
