As we reach the halfway point of Veganuary, a month dedicated to plant-based eating, Lidl has launched 28 new plant-based products in its Vemondo Plant! range at pocket-friendly prices starting at just £1.09.
With searches for “plant-based food” up by 96% this January, Lidl’s new range is here to provide plant-based inspiration and make your Veganuary—and beyond—a flavorful and sustainable success.
From the hearty Meat Free Cordon Bleu and Drumsticks to Fish Free Fingers, all priced at £1.99, Lidl’s plant-based range covers a variety of tastes. The new dairy alternatives, including Vegan Grated Cheese and Vegan Cream Cheese Spread for just £1.75, as well as a selection of soy yogurts priced at £1.09 per pot, are perfect for anyone craving familiar flavors in a plant-based form. Fan favorites like Beetroot Burgers (£1.89) and Barista Oat Milk (£1.09) also join the lineup, ensuring a well-rounded selection of staples.
Lidl’s offerings don’t stop at meat and dairy substitutes. Their range also includes essentials like Meat Free Mince and Lasagne (£2.49), Vegan Cheese Slices (£1.75), and Gosh Mediterranean Falafel (£1.69). The best part? These products are now part of Lidl’s permanent range, making it easier than ever to maintain a plant-based diet year-round.
This launch aligns with Lidl’s broader sustainability goals, as the supermarket responds to a 12% increase in plant-based category sales over the past year. In 2024, Lidl announced its commitment to having plant-based proteins make up 25% of its total protein sales by 2030—a move aimed at reducing its Scope 3 carbon emissions, which include indirect emissions from the products it sells.
The full range is available nationwide now, while stocks last.
