I love cooking vegan feasts for my omni friends

2. Your omni friends suggest going out to eat: where do you end up?

What omni friends?














I'm cool to go with the flow. There'll always be chips on the menu!














I'll usually steer the group - ideally somewhere all-vegan, but vegetarian at least














We'll likely end up in a chain restaurant like Nandos, where everyone's happy and we know what to expect














I actually refuse to eat with my omni friends - it never ends well!

3. What's the classic question that people ask that really gets you?

Whether I exclude potatoes from my diet - because they have eyes too!














Oh, it's got to be that annoying one about plants feeling pain. *Eye roll*














Whether I miss bacon. Cue rage.














It doesn't 'get me' as such, but I find it funny when people ask whether I'm hungry all the time!














More of a statement, but that one about how we'd be overrun by animals if we stopped eating them.

4. In your opinion, what's the best thing you've experienced about being vegan?

My energy levels! Such a difference!














Changing other people's minds and getting them to go vegan














Meeting a strong community of like-minded people.














Eating exciting and amazing food made from incredible ingredients, whether I eat out or make it myself














Going to sleep each night knowing I'm not complicit in a conspiracy of systematic abuse

5. Finally, how do you see the future?

I can't help but see a bunch of cavemen still trying to argue that 'we've got incisors for a reason'














I think there's a long way to go, but we can keep chipping away and spreading the word!














Vegan is going to go properly mainstream and people will quit with those stupid questions!














If I don't envisage a totally vegan world, I will quickly lose faith in the present














More vegan celebs, and people in the public eye demonstrating that it's not weird to be vegan
