Vegan, ethical and sustainable womenswear brand Legends & Vibes has turned to Kickstarter to take their vision to the next level.
Based in Venice Beach, California, Legends & Vibes combines vintage vibes with innovative designs, feminine glamour and a soft Southern California Style – a statement to the modern, fearless, female. All of the materials are sourced locally in Los Angeles, and provide great alternatives to animal products.
This Kickstarter will allow Legends & Vibes sustainably scale, and allow the team to increase production runs. Legends & Vibes is selling its next collection through the Kickstarter platform, which includes a trucker jacket, show-stopping mini-dress, high-waisted trousers, and much more. There is even a reward option to name one of their upcoming styles! Pre-order the collection here.
A vegan for over 16 years, founder Amy Rebecca Wilde’s philosophy is “activism via commerce” and providing a “voice to the voiceless.” From a young age, Amy was busy conducting fur free demos in Los Angeles, producing a small line of tees and running vegan meet ups through her popular Instagram account: Vegans of Instagram. Amy is now one of the most sought-after vegan and ethical fashion experts.
“My next big goal is to open up our own garment factory where we can do everything in house. I don’t think there’s ever been a 100% vegan factory like that before. We’re already very detailed oriented about making sure all of our ethical standards are being met, but this would allow us to have it all under one roof, streamline production, and add more sustainability to operations. The timeline for that entirely depends on funding,” says Wilde.
Amy also owns a vegan boutique in Venice Beach, California, called Vegan Scene. The space features a wide variety of designers whose products are 100% vegan and sustainable, ranging from fashion (men’s and women’s), accessories, all-natural and cruelty-free skin care products, and more.
Be sure to visit Vegan Scene in-person at 4051 Lincoln Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90292, or online at veganscene.com. Vegan Scene and Legends & Vibes ships products worldwide.
