“After all she’s done to help dogs and cats find loving families, PETA is delighted that Ariana has found love herself.”
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have been gifted a vegan bicycle in celebration of their wedding in Montecito.
Animal rights charity PETA sent the anniversary present wishing the couple a ‘fun and happy future filled with adventures together’.
While the wedding was an intimate affair of around 20 friends and family, PETA was delighted to learn that Grande’s adopted dogs were present at the couple’s ceremony.
Animal advocate Grande
Grande, who has been a longstanding animal rights advocate is reported to own nearly a dozen rescued pets.
Late last year, she launched Orange Twins Rescue – an animal rescue centre in Los Angeles, California, with a mission to ‘to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need’.
‘Fun and happy future’
Lisa Lange, the Senior Vice President at PETA said: “After all she’s done to help dogs and cats find loving families, PETA is delighted that Ariana has found love herself.
“We wish her and Dalton a fun and happy future filled with adventures together—starting on the back of this tandem bike!
Is Grande vegan?
While Grande has promoted a ‘full plant-based, whole food diet’ in the past, she is not 100% vegan.
However, her brother Frankie James Grande is a ‘super proud vegan’.
The American dancer and YouTube personality went vegan back in 2019 after admitting whey protein and other dairy products made him feel sick.
“I eat whatever I want as long as it’s vegan. I would be sick pretty much all the time because I wasn’t careful about what I was eating,” he said in an interview with Hollywoodlife.
“So now I can literally just say, is it vegan? If the answer is yes, I will eat it. Indiscriminately. Pad Thai, tofu pad Thai is my new favorite. And then all of the vegan desserts. If it’s vegan and it’s dessert, I’ll eat the whole thing.”
