Asda is the latest supermarket to release a wide selection of vegan festive treats for this year’s Christmas dinner.

One third of Brits are now cutting down on meat, and supermarkets are reacting to the trends by upping their vegan game. See Asda’s vegan selection below.

Vegan Mushroom and Chestnut Nut Roast with Cranberry Star Butter

Made with a mixture of earthy chestnuts, peanuts and wholesome mushrooms. Topped with a festive cranberry vegan butter star. Price: £2.50

Roast Parsnip, Chestnut & Sage Pâté

The sweet and earthy flavours of roasted Parsnip to be served with smoky chestnut & sage pâté. Price: £1.50

Sweet tooth? Asda’s Vegan Chocolate Caramel Pots are generously filled with a smooth chocolate ganache and salted caramel sauce – topped with gold iridescent glitter for a festive feel. Available on December 19, Price: £3

Vegan Cheese Board

To create a vegan cheese board Asda offers a traditional Mature Cheddar Alternative for a full-bodied and smooth option, the Garlic & Chive Mature Cheddar Alternative and a Wensleydale & Cranberry Alternative. Price: £2 each
