The ice cream giant says its new vegan flavour “ packs a punch of indulgence with melt-in-your-mouth creaminess from the oatmilk-base that makes it the greatest thing since ice cream.”

Baskin-Robbins has rolled out a new vegan ice cream flavour in the US.

The chain’s new Non-Dairy Salted Fudge Bar flavour will be available in all of its 2,500 locations nationwide.

This follows the May 2021 release of its very first oat milk-based Non-Dairy Strawberry Streusel.  The move made it the first national chain to add oat milk-based vegan ice cream to its menu.

Baskin -Robbins newest option is made with a creamy salted dark chocolate oat milk base,  smooth fudge ribbon swirls and chunks of gooey fudge throughout.

While the new non-dairy product is vegan-friendly, the  American multinational chain of ice cream does not guarantee that there will be no cross-contact between products or ingredients.

The ice cream is also available in a Fresh-Pack which comes in pint, quart, and half-gallon sizes.

Customers can place an order in-store, online, or through delivery apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates.

According to the brand, “Each bite of this rich flavour packs a punch of indulgence with melt-in-your-mouth creaminess from the oatmilk-base that makes it the greatest thing since ice cream.

“Baskin-Robbins flavour experts worked hard to create an oatmilk base with such a smooth and creamy consistency it delivers on the indulgent experience of traditional ice cream. The result is a perfect balance of elements that delivers on the flavour experience Baskin-Robbins’ guests love and expect.”

The vice president of marketing & culinary at Baskin-Robbins is Shannon Blakely. She said: “We’re a brand that’s all about creating new flavour experiences.

“With so many people living plant-based or flexitarian lifestyles today… We couldn’t be more excited to launch our new oat milk-based option.

“We’re so passionate about this new base and Flavor of the Month as it’s not just an evolution of our offerings, but a sign of our passion and commitment to creating what’s ‘next’ in frozen desserts.”
