“We are really excited about Gooder and aim to see a vegan kebab shop on every high street in the UK.

An all-vegan late night kebab shop called Gooder has opened in Brighton with a mission to take on the kebab industry. The restaurant promises to ‘serve good tasting kebabs that are also Gooder for the animals’.

The menu boasts 100% vegan and gluten free kebabs including “Lamb” Kofte, Chickn Shawarma, Chickn Shish Kebab, Doner Kebab,  gyros, burgers and more.

‘Anti-death, pro-taste’

The kebab shop is run by a team of animal rights activists who are passionate about an anti-death, pro-taste world.

They make a bold statement – why should the wants of the few outweigh the rights of the many highlighting that over 1.3 million kebabs are sold everyday in the UK amounting to 2,500,000 kilos of lamb and chicken flesh per week alone. That is a lot of suffering and death.

The kebab shop will serve you minced kebabs but they won’t mince their words when it comes to highlighting the cruelty and animal suffering caused by the kebab industry. “We are in it to take on the kebab industry because a piece of flesh spinning on a rod is not cool anymore.”

The head chef told Totally Vegan Buzz: “We are aiming to have a place that offers a welcoming and popular atmosphere and great tasting food that everyone can enjoy, we are really excited about Gooder and aim to see a vegan kebab shop on every high street in the UK.”

‘Delicious’

This inaugural vegan kebab joint has already started earning rave reviews.

“Converted meat eaters who reckoned that it was better than most actually meaty kebabs,” read one satisfied customer’s review.

Others praised the place for its “delicious and very reasonably priced” food.
