âMy message to them other than âthanks a f**king lotâ is go veganâ
Along with sharing a snippet of him singing his 1983 hit âCuts Like a Knifeâ on Instagram, the 60- year old singer lashed out at wet market vendors for the ongoing pandemic in an explosive expletive loaded post.
Bemoaning the cancellation of his scheduled concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London, he wrote: âTonight was supposed to be the beginning of a tenancy of gigs at the @royalalberthall.
âBut thanks to some f**king bat eating, wet market animal selling, virus making greedy b**tards, the whole world is now on hold, not to mention the thousands that have suffered or died from this virus.â
The novel coronavirus, which erupted last December has been widely linked to Huananâs Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China. The virus has spread globally since then killing more than 287,463 people at the time of writing.
âGo f**king veganâ
Not done with his rant, Adams continued that people should now switch to veganism to prevent such situations in the future.
âMy message to them other than âthanks a f**king lotâ is go vegan,â he wrote.
This isnât the first time Adams has condemned animal eating and promoted veganism in his posts.
Last month, he shared an illustration on his Instapage, which read: âHere we see one of the deadliest plagues the world has ever seen. The other one is the coronavirusâ.
Captioning the illustration, he wrote: “Letâs not forget this virus comes from an open wet market where animals and fish of all descriptions are sold together either dead or alive.
“This has been going on for decades and as a result, so have these viruses.â
âGet the show on the road againâ
With all public gatherings cancelled amid lockdown rules, Adams added that he would keep posting a snippet from each album he would have performed in the gigs so as to not disappoint his fans
âTo all the people missing out on our shows, I wish I could be there more than you know,â he wrote at the end of his latest post.
âItâs been great hanging out in isolation with my children and family, but I miss my other family, my band, my crew and my fans.
âTake care of yourselves and hope we can get the show on the road again soon. Iâll be performing a snippet from each album we were supposed to perform for the next few days. Xâ¤ď¸â
