UK coffee chain Caffè Nero has launched new Christmas goodies which includes a range of sweet and savory vegan options.
Caffè Nero’s plant-based menu items include a Christmas-dinner inspired sandwich, a mince pie, a festive mixed grain salad along with an assortment of vegan-friendly specialty coffee drinks.
Will Stratton-Morris, CEO at Caffe Nero UK, in a statement to Vegan Food & Living said: “We’re continuing to transform high street food by extending our new deli menu further and offering more choice for customers, with the launch of our fantastic new Christmas offering.
“The fresh new products reflect the premium quality of our coffee and the vegan options mean more delicious options for all customers. We wanted to celebrate the launch by rewarding our loyal customers the best way we know how – more free coffees on us.”
Christmas vegan delicacies
The Vegan Roast Dinner Ciabatta priced at £4.55 includes parsnip fritter with spiced butternut squash, kale and cranberry sauce in a hand stretched ciabatta.
The mixed grain salad available as a side portion for £1.90 or £3.80 for a meal portion features mixed grains with butternut squash, cranberries, chestnuts, kale along with an orange and rosemary dressing.
The Star-Topped Vegan Mince Pie priced at £2 contains a mincemeat filling wrapped in sweet pastry and is decorated with a star and sweet dusting.
The brand also has a range of festive drink flavours to offer including Salted Caramel Drizzle Spiced Ginger with Cinnamon, Hazelnut & Chocolate Chip and Caramelised Almond with Golden Crunch with the option of choosing a preferred dairy-free alternative from oats, coconut or soya.
To celebrate the festive spirit and the launch of its delectable Christmas menu, Caffè Nero will be giving away 10,000 complimentary coffees to eligible loyal customers up until Christmas eve.
The festive menu is already available across its stores nationwide.
