The Academy-winning star and business mogul unveiled two pairs of sneakers “handmade with the finest vegan leather and designed with an innate understanding of the busy modern-day women”.

Welsh actor Catherine Zeta-Jones has unveiled new vegan leather shoes in collaboration with women’s footwear brand Butterfly Twists.

The line is part of the Oscar-winning actor’s lifestyle brand, Casa Zeta-Jones. It features two vegan leather sneaker styles and is available in multiple colorways.

The shoe launch coincides with her new athletic apparel line, developed with the dancewear brand Body Wrappers. It features sports jackets, bras, leggings, pants, shorts, and more.

Taking to Instagram, to announce both the collections, Zeta-Jones wrote: “I am so excited to announce my latest projects for Casa Zeta-Jones: active-wear and vegan sneakers.

 “Both of these collections are perfect for my ladies who want elegant comfort and versatility without sacrificing style. I hope you all love these collections as much as I have loved creating them.”

Casa Zeta-Jones x Butterfly Twists

The new Butterfly Twists vegan sneakers are inspired by Zeta-Jones welsh heritage and are “handmade with the finest vegan leather and designed with an innate understanding of the busy modern-day women”.

According to the brand: “It’s our new wardrobe essential.”

The new line joins the existing collaboration of the duo, which includes vegan flats in ballerina styles and neutral tones.

Speaking of her partnership with the women footwear brand, the actor said: “I love their brand and knew I could collaborate with them on something really fresh and different.

 “Butterfly Twists is a vegan brand too. Vegan materials are so advanced and luxurious now it is difficult to tell the difference between real leather and vegan leather.

“I know that it’s an important consideration for many women and I’m happy I can create something that is sustainable without sacrificing style.”
