Singer Kesha has announced the launch of her new make-up line, Kesha Rose Beauty that features eyeshadows, lip glosses, and liners.
The songstress known for her bold makeup and shimmery looks announced her vegan and cruelty-free line in an Instagram video.
She said: “I think beauty is all about what’s inside your soul. I’m just an aura in a skin suit, but I do like to decorate it,” in the clip.
“That’s what this makeup is about. Perfect is not real and normal is boring.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/B4kZOrWlAQh/The celebrity has teamed up with HipDot- a cruelty-free makeup company to launch the five-piece makeup collection.
Women’s Wear Daily(WWD) reported that the Kesha Rose Beauty line includes a 12-shade FTW eyeshadow palette ($36) in a round red velvet case, two dual-ended waterproof liquid eyeliner pens ($28) called Whatever Wherever [Wands] and a lipstick-gloss combination ($26).
Speaking to WWD, the pop star said: “My relationship to makeup is not purely to make me feel perfect or beautiful or filtered. It’s more to make me feel like my authentic insides are being shown on the outside.
“Sometimes with beauty, it feels like the goal is perfection. With my line, that’s not the goal. My goal is happiness.”
Back in August, Millie Brown launched Florence by Mills– her own cosmetic line, which is PETA-certified, vegan and cruelty-free.
“I wanted it to be vegan, clean, cruelty-free that would be easy to get and fun to use and still useful, but, you know, playing that sophisticated teenager as well” said the teen star at the time of the launch.
The Kesha Rose Beauty range goes on sale from December 3 exclusively on HipDot’s website.
