“I am so proud of how far I’ve come physically…,” the reality TV star said after losing 50lb in one year.

Reality TV star Chloe Trautman has revealed the health benefits she has experienced after transitioning to a vegan diet.

The 25-year-old, chiefly known as a cast member of MTV’s hit reality TV series, ‘Siesta Key’ lost 50lb over the last year, with a vegan diet, ditching alcohol, and workouts all playing a role.

The Concept by Chloe founder – a platform where women from all walks of life can get some advice – revealed the astounding scale of her weight loss on social media earlier this year.

‘A year of transformation’

Trautman shared a side-by-side photo on Instagram with a caption that read: “One year later…

“When you silence the negative thoughts and listen to what your true heart is telling you; absolutely nothing can hold you back.

“I am so proud of how far I’ve come physically but I am even more proud of how far I’ve come emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This has truly been a year of transformation.”

Moment of truth

Shortly after revealing her impressive transformation, Trautman opened up on the tipping points that led her to embark on her weight loss journey.

She told E! News: “There was kind of a moment—literally on a mountain in Aspen—where I was struggling skiing and tumbling down it and that was a moment where my physical transformation started.

“I was 50 pounds heavier than I am right now and I was like, ‘I need to get healthy.’ And then my ex and I broke up in June of last year and that was really when the bigger shift started happening.”

‘A lifestyle change’

According to Trautman, her impressive weight loss is the result of ‘a lifestyle change’.

“I’m just as active as possible…I do yoga; I walk the beach; I rollerblade,” she told Life & Style.

“I went vegan, and I just eat a lot of vegetables and a lot of fruit.

 “I think the key, for me, is not overeating and not eating late at night.”
