UK coffee chain Costa Coffee has announced new Christmas menu which includes a range of sweet and savory vegan options.
The festive menu will be available in all of its 2,467 locations nationwide from November 1.
Costa Coffee’s plant-based menu items include a vegetable and falafel sandwich, rocky road bar, Christmas cake, and an assortment of vegan-friendly specialty coffee drinks.
Eric Tavoukdjian, commercial marketing director at Costa Coffee said: “Christmas is always such a magical time of year at Costa Coffee, and we’re incredibly excited to launch our best menu to date.
“We hope families and friends are inspired to come together and enjoy a Christmas treat in-store this season.”
Vegan Options
The ‘Veggies Under Vest’ sandwich will be stuffed with falafel and parsnip, carrot, cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and fresh spinach.
The vegan Christmas desserts will include a gluten-free mince tart for £2.10, rocky road bar dotted with vegan marshmallows for £2.25, and a fruit-based Christmas cake slice for £1.80.
The festive-themed specialty coffee drinks that can be opted vegan will include the chain’s popular Bonfire Spiced Latte along with the Festive Spiced Cappuccino, Black Forest Hot Chocolate, and Gingerbread Latte.
