Dad loses 13 stone by ditching KFC and going vegan | Totally Vegan Buzz

A man has lost an incredible 13 stone by swapping a fast-food meat addiction for a vegan diet.

Mark Henderson, 46, from Blackpool, UK, was clinically morbidly obese, tipping the scales at 32 stone due to a habit of eating a KFC family buckets and consistently consuming 10,000 calories a day.

But he’s dramatically turned his life around after ditching meat and dairy and sticking to a plant-based diet.

The IT technician struggled with day-to-day tasks, even tying his own shoelaces, while he wore XXXXXL clothes.

But now his incredible weight loss has improved his life for good. “I would always order a family-sized meal for myself and double up on burgers,” he told The Sun.

“I would eat 6,000 to 10,000 calories a day but at the time it didn’t seem like that much at all.

“Previously I wasn’t even able to sit on my kids’ beds to read bedtime stories as they would have broken, but now I can enjoy walks in the park with them and other activities like cycling.

“I no longer see being a vegan as a diet, it is a lifestyle change for the rest of my life.”

Mark has replaced his junk food diet with one filled with veggies, almond milk, quinoa salads, lentil stews, berries and nuts.
