A new plant-based method for treating type 2 diabetes has achieved incredible success in its early stages, with doctors reporting a 97% rate of patients going into remission.

Dr. Janka Lejavova, MD has been guiding patients to use her Natural Food Interaction (NFI) protocol, which treats diabetes patients with a combination of whole plant-based foods tailored to each individual.

Lejavova told Plant Based News the protocol has driven such incredible recoveries that she’s taken 42 patients off medication altogether.

The protocol’s success stories include Tereza G, a 33-year-old diabetic of three years who lost 15kg in 13 weeks and brought her blood glucose levels into a healthy range.

Another patient, Edward T, lost 21kg in 17 weeks, while another 52 patients are due to come off medication next month following excellent results on the program.

600 patients are being treated by Lejavova around the world on the NFI protocol.

“It is a really special feeling being able to share the success of this protocol,” Dr. Janka Lejavova told Plant Based News.

“After feeling disillusioned over the last 12 years working in the medical field, I have hope back.

“The NFI diet has not just reminded me why I got into medicine – but allowed me to take action. I’m so delighted I am now able to help patients achieve true health.”

Plant Based News is backing the NFI program, and details can be found on the pro-vegan publication’s website.
