Dunkin’ has launched 41 vegan donut flavors in its outlets in Belgium.

“From today on you can order more than 40 vegan donuts.”

Vegan donuts

The announcement attracted a flurry of requests from American Dunkin’ fans urging the chain to launch vegan donuts in their country as well.

“I’ve been vegan for 5 years in New York City. We NEED this because Vegan donuts are a primary food group,” wrote one Instagram user.

Another added: “And the US? Or will we have to travel for the goodness”

A third said: “Please oh please bring this (or even just ONE) to the US”

Dunkin’ US vegan menu

Although Dunkin’ vegan donuts aren’t on the US menu yet, the fast-food chain, which first entered the vegan market with a trial Beyond Breakfast Sausage Sandwich at sites in Manhattan has the meatless sandwich available at more than 9000 locations across the U.S.

After sales for the plant-based alternative doubled expectation, Dunkin’ CEO David Hoffman announced that the company was investigating “a viable vegan donut option” and looking closely into creating one.

Meanwhile, the company has also added oat milk lattes to its US menus nationwide to offer more dairy-free choices to its customers.
