The star’s new haircare brand will feature “plant-based, naturally-derived ingredients – without parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten… and of course vegan and cruelty-free.”
Jennifer Aniston just launched her own vegan, cruelty-free haircare brand, called LolaVie.
According to the Hollywood actor – who made ‘The Rachel’ haircut one of the most iconic hairstyles of the 1990’s – she has been working on the brand and its products for the past five years and has been involved in every aspect of its development.
The brand’s website states: “…what you may not know about Jennifer Aniston is that she’s obsessed with medical journals, technological advances, and the latest beauty and health innovations.
“Her vision for LolaVie is to combine the best of science and nature. With this brand, she wants to prove that you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other.”
Taking to Instagram to announce the line, Aniston wrote: “LolaVie officially launches – a little idea from @jenniferaniston that evolved into a line made to help your hair feel healthy and look effortless.
“Our products are made with plant-based, naturally-derived ingredients — and WITHOUT parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten… and of course we are vegan and CRUELTY-FREE!”
LolaVie’s hair detangler
The first product to debut is The Glossing Detangler, which is a ‘99% naturally-derived detangling spray helps detangle hair, prime with vegan thermal shield, enhance shine with lemon extract, smooth with a superfruit complex and vegetable ceramides, and protect against damage by harnessing the power of chia seeds’.
Speaking to Allure, the 52-year-old ‘Friends’ alum said: “I love a really good detangler because my hair has gone through so much thrashing.
“[So I love for a product to have many jobs in one, so it has a heat protector and shine, and so it’s time-efficient.”
The Glossing Detangler, which Aniston calls “the Swiss Army Knife” of hair products can now be purchased on lolavie.com for $25.
