The vegan coffee start-up is Markle’s first public investment after becoming financially independent from the royal family.
After Oprah Winfrey, it seems Meghan Markle has roped in another celebrity to endorse her vegan coffee brand Clevr Blends.
Reality star Kim Kardashian posted an Instagram story of the hamper she received containing packets of the coffee.
The hamper was sent by Stacey Bendet – the designer of Alice + Olivia fashion.
Kardashian is undoubtedly one of Instagram’s biggest influencers with more than 190 million followers and although Kardashian didn’t tag Markle in the post, a source close to Kim told the Sun: “A product mention from her, just before Christmas, is better than most marketing campaigns you could ever devise.
“Throw in Meghan Markle and Oprah and you’ve got three of the most famous female names on the planet supporting this brand.”
‘My Favourite Things list’
Talk show host Oprah Winfrey also plugged the brand to her 19.2 million followers after receiving the latte packets as a gift from Markle herself.
Crediting the contents to her “neighbour M”, Oprah said: “My new drink of choice for the morning and night. Wish I had @clevrblends sooner cause I would’ve added it to my Favourite Things list.”
Clevr Blends
The California-based female-led company that sells ‘Super Lattes’ made from oat milk received an undisclosed amount from the Duchess of Sussex after she confirmed her investment in the brand: “in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritises building community alongside her business.”
The oat milk-based lattes are available in Matcha, Chai, Coffee, and Golden flavors and come packed with nutritious ingredients, probiotics, and adaptogens. ‘The perfect sidekick to caffeine’, has no-added sugar and can be turned into creamy, frothy, luscious lattes by just adding water.
