UK based vegan chocolate brand Moo Free has announced the launch of its heart-shaped white chocolate truffles with a raspberry centre.
Moo Free has created a white chocolate version of its popular Moo Free Hazelnut Truffles to cater to the growing demand for vegan goodies.
Andrea Jessop, CEO and co-founder of Moo Free, said: “People have been asking us to make a dairy-free white chocolate for years and we’ve finally been able to create one with a great taste that we are happy with. It’s a delight to finally be able to introduce it to our amazing customers,” in a statement to Vegan Food & Living.
The chocolate truffles are made from UTZ certified cocoa and have a gooey raspberry centre made from a unique raspberry concentrate mixture that gives the truffles a tangy, fruity flavour.
The vegan chocs will be available in January 2020 in selected Waitrose stores and online at www.dairyfreechocolates.com.
Priced at £4.99 and shaped like hearts make Moo Free’s white raspberry truffles an ideal option for a Valentine’s Day gift!
Vegan Chocolates
Demand for plant-based products has soared across the world in recent years as more customers ditch meat and dairy for health, environment and ethical reasons.
This has led to an influx of new products to capture a share of the booming plant-based market.
Recently, Nestle’s British brand Aero released a vegan version of its “bubbly” bar, which includes 70 percent dark chocolate for a “rich and delicious melt-in-your-mouth” experience.
Last month Mars UK announced vegan versions of its most popular Galaxy bar with three flavor options: smooth orange, caramel and sea salt and caramelized hazelnut.
