Supermarket chain Morrisons has launched vegan pigs in blankets just in time for Christmas.
Vegans can enjoy the plant-based twist on the classic meaty festive food, with the vegan version named ‘Veggies in Blankets’.
The sausages are made from tomato, potato, mushroom and basil, and wrapped in an aubergine ‘blanket’.
The Veggies in Blankets are part of the supermarket’s three for £6 offer on Christmas party food.
The deal includes the vegan Sweet Potato Stacks and vegan Vegetable Tempura Nests.
