Quorn is introducing two new Vegan Spicy Tortilla Escalopes and Crunchy Tex Mex Nuggets in the UK.
The popular meat-free brand has launched the new high protein, low calorie products which will be available this year.
Quorn said in a statement: “Tex-Mex food never fails to satisfy but can be heavy on meat and largely calorific. Well, say hello to a NEW, yet nacho ordinary Tex-Mex…”
“Short on calories, big on flavor, totally meat-free and made with a healthy source of protein, which is better for you and the planet.”
The vegan nuggets are coated with a spicy breadcrumb made from quinoa, oats, barley and linseed. The nuggets are soy-free, high in protein and fibre while remaining low in fat.
The product is priced at £3.00, contains less than 250 calories per serving and will be available later this month.

The plant-based escalopes include a citrus-infused Quorn fillet covered in a nacho crunchy crumb. The tortillas are packed full of protein and fibre, low in saturated fat and contain no soya.
The tortillas are priced at £3.25 for a two-person serving, contain less than 250 calories per serving and will be available from October.
The new Quorn additions have been approved by the Vegan and Vegetarian Society and carry the vegan trademark logo.
