‘I wanted the best ingredients and I didn’t want it to cost a lot …I believe that is what people deserve. They deserve great product, great skin, and it should not be inaccessible’
Rihanna has unveiled a new exclusively vegan unisex skin care range under her Fenty brand.
Called the Fenty Skin Line, the brand has partnered with Kendo Brands, a LVMH-owned beauty developer to embody Rihanna’s personal skincare journey, her globe-trotting lifestyle and her goal to provide easy solutions for all skin types and tones.
“Fenty Skin is my vision of the new culture of skincare – I wanted to create amazing products that really work, that are easy to use, and everyone can apply it,” the pop star and make-up entrepreneur said of her new product line.
“I wanted safe, clean, effective formulas that celebrated and respected what our planet has to offer.”
In an Instagram video announcing the launch, Rihanna said: “I get really picky with products and a lot of time I get scared and cautious.
“I wanted a product that just worked. More than anything that was just the most important thing for me. Something that worked for everyone.
“ I wanted the best ingredients and I didn’t want it to cost a lot … ( wanted to ) focus on a very few amount of products that I feel you need and make them better than everything I’ve ever used… because I believe that is what people deserve. They deserve great product, great skin, and it should not be inaccessible.”

The first three “start’rs” products set to debut on July 31 are designed as 2-in-1 multitaskers with eco-friendly ingredients and sustainable packaging.
The Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser is a daily cleanser and makeup remover, which works into a creamy lather to wash away makeup, oil, dirt, and pollution without stripping skin or drying you out.
Its power performance is credited to potent ingredients such as Barbados cherry, Ginkgo biloba, green tea, fig and quince.

The toner-serum hybrid Fat Water targets pores, improves the look of dark spots, brightens, smooths, and fights shine with niacinamide, Barbados cherry, Australian lemon myrtle & witch hazel water, Japanese raisin tree, and green tea and fig. Cactus flower helps hydrate the skin and keeps it supple.

The Hydra Vizor SPF 30 moisturizer is a 2-in-1 sunscreen and moisturizer that defends and brightens skin while reducing the look of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. The unique formula has no chalkiness as the pink tinted cream applies invisibly on all skin tones.
Kalahari melon, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, aloe and baobab are some of the ingredients added in this fantastic product.

All the products are clinically tested, clean, vegan, oil-free, noncomedogenic, earth-conscious and will be exclusively available on FentySkin.com reasonably priced between $25 to $35,
According to the brand, the range in the future will expand to include “medicated and non-medicated skin care preparations and soaps, body care kits comprising non-medicated body care preparations, and skincare product accessories.”
