Sainsbury’s has launched a range of affordable, sustainable vegan shoes for women called Love Our Planet Footwear.
The UK supermarket’s new shoe range is approved by PETA as totally vegan friendly and fur free.
The brand is also made from sustainable and recycled materials. All shoes are made from at least partially recycled polyester, some are 100% recycled and the range even has shoelaces made from plastic bottles and with water-based materials..
“By creating a more sustainable branded shoe collection we help grow the mission to protect our planet whilst offering a stylish range of environmentally conscious footwear,” Sainsbury’s explained.
“All footwear has a fully sustainable life cycle from original materials to quality control to packaging and shipping.”
All outer soles are made with 100% recycled TPR, while packaging is 100% recycled paper and printing is with soy-based ink.
Prices of the Love Our Planet shoes range from £35-£50 and include a variety of boots and trainers.
