The new holiday collection includes limited-edition eyeshadow palettes, lip creams and balms, souffles and liquid blush that’s vegan and free of parabens.
Following a 16-piece makeup collection in September, Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty has released two vegan and cruelty-free eyeshadow palettes as part of its 2020 Holiday Collection.
‘Reflect your true aura’
The limited-edition palettes boast of six ultra-creamy, blendable longwearing shades ‘inspired by the light and energy that surrounds us’ and ‘reflect your true aura’.
The ‘truly one of a kind’ Magnetic Spirit palette has rich jewel tones in metallic and duo-chrome finishes. The colour range includes purple, amethyst, bright coral, and dirty olive.
The glimmering Confident Energy Eyeshadow Palette features warm neutrals and vivid bolds including lime green, teal, and salmon in metallic and satin finishes —perfect for a quick wash of color, or endless layering.
‘So inspired by the looks’
In a video interview with Elle.com, the singer-actress teamed up with longtime makeup artist Hung Vanngo to give viewers a test drive of Rare Beauty’s first-ever eyeshadow palettes.
“For me, I’ve just been so inspired by the looks that you and I have done together,” she told Vanngo.
“And so I picked out this palette specifically of moments that are my favorite. I thought it would be a great way to introduce eyeshadows and these are all the colors that reflect that peachy vibe, and then obviously with [the Confident Energy palette], the beautiful blue and teal.”
The other products in the collection include:
- Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 4 Piece Mini Set
- Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 2 Piece Mini Duo
- Best of Rare Beauty Mini Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream Duo
While the palettes have been priced at $25, the remaining products cost between $15 to $28.
All the products are available to purchase at sephora.com and rarebeauty.com and will be available in-stores at Sephora on October 16.
