Snoop Dogg has joined Beyond Meat’s Feed A Million+ campaign to help distribute vegan Beyond Burgers to workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Snoop Dogg, Beyond Meat investor and ambassador has come onboard to help the vegan food startup in donating more than a million vegan Beyond Burgers to hospitals.

“Beyond Meat has made a pledge to donate over one million Beyond Burgers to those in need during these challenging times I’m proud to be a part of it,” wrote the American musician on Instagram.

Many Beyond Meat ambassadors have stepped up to help in the campaign.

While Snoop Dogg donated burgers to Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Southern Los Angeles, comedian Kevin Hart sent burgers to Northridge Hospital Medical Center in California.

The comedian also shared a video on Instagram, in which he said: “I want to give a shout-out to my partners in crime over there at Beyond Meat. You guys are unbelievable, feeding over a million people right now through these crazy times is a must. I love the fact that you’ve stepped up and I want to do my part as your partner, I want to step-up as well.”

Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, another Beyond Meat ambassador, donated 200,000 vegan Beyond Burgers to the New York City food bank, the largest hunger relief nonprofit organization.

The Star guard also launched the Share A Meal campaign with Feed America and Lineage Logistics and donated $323,000 along with partnering with City Harvest NYC to distribute 250,000 meals to the vulnerable across NY city.

“Seeing the effects of COVID-19 reach our loved ones, our schools, our jobs, and access to food has really impacted me,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Thank you all for the birthday love, I’m extremely grateful for the support. Seeing the effects of COVID-19 reach our loved ones, our schools, our jobs, and access to food has really impacted me. I am excited to partner with @feedingamerica and @lineagelogistics to launch the Share A Meal campaign to help marginalized communities get the food resources they require during this time, and to work with our local partner @cityharvestnyc to distribute 250k meals to my neighbors in need across the NY area. In addition to that I am donating $323k to Feeding America and @lineagelogistics will match $200k of what we raise together.  I am asking my fans, friends, family and partners to join me in helping our communities by donating at the link in my bio. Thank you to everyone on the front line working to keep all of us safe, healthy, and fed. Together we can change the world one small gesture at a time.
