The International coffee chain has launched the vegan whipped cream just in time for the Pumpkin Spice Latte season.

This Friday, Starbucks will launch vegan whipped cream topping in the UK.

The vegan topping created by Alpro, has an indulgent, silky texture and is made from a smooth soya base with a subtle hint of vanilla.

Customers who follow a plant-based diet can enjoy it on any of the dairy- free alternatives offered by the coffee chain such as soy, oat, or almond milk.

Full vegan PSL experience

The silky topping is also debuting just in time for the Pumpkin Spice Latte season, in which the coffee giant also offers dairy-free PSLs so customers can enjoy the full Vegan PSL experience of a “scrumptious combination of Starbucks espresso roast, pumpkin pie flavoured sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.”

While US outlets are lagging behind in introducing vegan PSLs, Starbucks has been offering the vegan version of the PSL in the UK, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, and Austria since 2018.

While the seasonal drink will only be in stores for a limited time – from 25th September to 4th November nationwide, news on whether Starbucks will offer vegan whipped cream throughout fall and winter is still under wraps.
