The mother of four has been a committed vegan since 2019 and can’t think of reversing her diet.

Committed vegan and a successful Hollywood star Teresa Palmer recently celebrated her son’s 8th birthday in a spectacular plant-based fashion.

The festivities – held in the Webber’s backyard – included a vegan birthday cake and a table-wide charcuterie board featuring lots of tasty, healthy snacks and drinks.

The theme of the party was that of a water park complete with slides.

The Adelaide based actress posted several images of the party to Instagram along with a caption in which she wrote: “Bodhi finally got the party he’s been asking for yesterday.”

Palmer added that the ‘epic’ vegan cake was ordered from Small Delights in Adelaide, the pizza was made by dad Mark Webber  and the extra-large vegan charcuterie board was put together by her along with help from her friend.

The spread was such a hit that the actress confessed that she “still can’t believe that almost all got eaten.”

The actress best known for her role as Rebecca in the horror movie Lights Out, was an on-off vegan for several years, before she decided she wanted to embrace the lifestyle for good.

On a podcast for The Grace Tales, the 36-year-old actress revealed that animal welfare and climate change were top contenders in driving her to switch to veganism.

“I just decided I don’t want to add to any more suffering in the world, including suffering of any sentient beings,” she said.

The mother of four has now been a committed vegan since 2019 and can’t think of reversing her diet.

In the Your Zen Mama blog, Palmer in reply to how she manages a vegan diet as a family, said: “Our family does it pretty seamlessly. We usually make sure we have a serving of veggies/fruit with each meal, a starch, and a plant-based protein whether it be quinoa, beans, or veggie meat made from pea protein.

“Our children feel really passionate about not eating animals and their drive and commitment to it keep inspiring us to stay on this path.”
