“I love that it’s a vegan collection. Sustainability is becoming more important and relevant for every single customer. But I also love that the shoes are super feminine, dreamy and unique.”
Today, vegan luxury footwear label Pīferi is making its long-awaited debut at Harrods, London, where it will be exclusively sold for the next month.
The made-in-Italy brand is founded by Alfredo Pīferi, who is the former lead designer of top fashion brands including Jimmy Choo and Burberry.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Alfredo Pīferi wrote: “I am excited to announce Harrods will launch PĪFERI tomorrow 16th of October with the main pop-up rotunda at the center of Harrods’ Shoe Heaven.
“It still feels unbelievable and I am grateful for all the people that supported me and made my pink dream reality!”

Newness and innovation
According to Alberto Oliveros, who oversees the Harrods business, Pīferi has been the most impressive launch of the year with “newness and innovation” being key highlights.
“He’s a shoemaker — he has knowledge of the last and how the product is made. The shoes are fabulous, but at the same time comfortable,” Oliveros said.
Describing the vegan collection, Oliveros pointed to the distinctive details that set Pīferi’s collection apart, like the silhouette of the curved heel, and Pīferi’s socquette, a detachable anklet made of durable recycled nylon and upcycled Lurex.
“I love that it’s a vegan collection. Sustainability is becoming more important and relevant for every single customer. But I also love that the shoes are super feminine, dreamy and unique,” Oliveros added.
Prices range from $465 for flats to $1,095 for a pair of over-the-knee boots.
Retail rollout
The Harrods project marks the beginning of a larger retail rollout for the brand. In mid-November, the label will launch in Browns in London, Level in Dubai and with Pedder Group in five China locations.
Pīferi also will also launch his own website next month.
