A vegan has perfectly summed up the ‘Hypocrisy’ of pet-owning meat-eaters

For vegans, there are a lot of frustrating contradictions about modern-day society that make us want to bang our heads against the wall. One of the most baffling is the intimate relationships many meat-eaters have with their pets. Countless non-vegans claim to be huge animal lovers and obsess over their beloved cats and dogs. They’ll spend all day petting and pandering to their sacred pets – but yet they’ll still happily eat meat in every meal.

Well that’s exactly the hypocrisy @notalwaysso highlighted on Twitter, and the response struck a chord with fellow vegans.
