The mouthwatering sweet treat is just one of many tasty new plant-based products launched at the high-street retailer for the upcoming festive season.
Marks & Spencer has been expanding its plant-based range with some delicious new launches including ice creams, marshmallows, and decadent desserts in recent months.
The latest addition includes Mindfulbite’s Italian Vegan Christmas Cake.
Available to purchase in store now, this 100% plant-based cake is made using wheat flour, cane sugar, sunflower oil, candied orange peels, shea butter, and natural flavouring, whilst being free of palm oil, GMOs, and trans fats.
The veganettone is also available at Ocado and costs £14.99, or £3.99 for a mini version.
‘Love this time of year’
Food account Vegan Food UK shared the news with its 140K followers and the post was soon flooded with comments.
“Yummmm! I love this time of year! So many good treats coming out!,” wrote one user
“My life now is complete,” commented another.
“Yay to all the vegan ranges coming out, Warms the heart lol,” added a third.
Vegan Christmas range at M&S
Apart from the tasty new treat, the upmarket retailer has released its festive range, which includes tasty mains, new party food nibbles, and indulgent desserts.
The new range is part of M&S’s Plant Kitchen party-food range and includes mini versions of its bestselling No-Chicken kiev, No-Duck Springs Rolls with Hoisin Dip, Mac and Cheese Bites and No-Chorizo Pigs in Duvets.
This Christmas, the supermarket will also have frozen bitesize versions of the soya-based kievs with its Plant Kitchen Mini No Chicken Kievs (£5).
For mains, customers can choose the colourful Plant Kitchen Butternut, Almond & Pecan Nut Roast (£7.50 – serves 4), which is a mix of sweet squash and roasted nuts.
The Plant Kitchen Vegan Festive Wreath (£10 – serves 4), made from roasted mushrooms, chestnuts and pumpkin seeds, and topped with a cranberry and orange glaze, makes for the perfect Christmas centrepiece.
Other dishes on offer include the Merry Christmas Giant Vegetable Roll (£8), which is a flavour-packed vegan centrepiece, filled with tender veg and seeds, and wrapped in a flaky puff pastry.
M&S also has a selection of desserts to offer from mince pies and Christmas pudding to the new Plant Kitchen Chocolate Torte.
