Everything at Lush is 100% cruelty free, although not everything is vegan since they do use honey and beeswax in some formulas. Luckily, they also make several vegan friendly lip balms and scrubs to care for your lips naturally. We love the aptly named ‘None of your Beeswax’ which, honestly, smells like you could eat it. The lemon curd scent is fresh and cheerful, alongside vanilla and mandarin. It contains coconut oil and shea butter as well as murumura and cupuaçu butters for extra moisturising power. Also, shout out to the delicious ‘Key Lime Pie’ lip balm – yum!

2. Crazy Rumors

Our top pick is ‘Spiced Chai’ with sweet vanilla and cardamom, tasty cinnamon and spicy ginger. Contains jojoba oil and shea butter for extra softness.

You might be familiar with Palmer’s from their cocoa butter formula but we love their coconut oil lip balm for truly soft lips. We all know coconut oil is a wonder product and it makes for a fabulous lip balm. This one contains ethically and sustainably sourced coconut oil and Tahitian monoï oil, and will protect your lips all day long from drying, chapping or cracking. All B. products are vegan and cruelty free (thanks Superdrug) and we think their ‘Lip Corrector’ is amazing. Yes, it’s technically a scrub and not a balm; but we don’t think you’ll mind once you’ve tried it. It’s great to use before applying your favourite lip colour for easy application and a smooth finish, without any pesky dry patches getting in the way.
