The Reebok and Milk Makeup collab is an unusual merger of beauty with sports.

Reebok has launched a limited-edition footwear and apparel range dubbed Equipment Essentials.

The release is in collaboration with Milk Makeup, the vegan beauty company of New York-based creative agency Milk Studios.

According to the brands, the collection is ‘inspired by the values and design that allow for creative expression’.

REEBOK X MILK MAKEUP

Born of utility and functionality, the multipurpose collection embodies the latest trends and values of consumers looking for unique and animal-friendly fashion options.

The five piece footwear line showcases bold prints and geometric patterns that reflect the current deconstruction trend, plus it’s also 100% vegan, reflecting Milk Makeup’s commitment to cruelty-free products.

The Classic and Club C 85 sneaker styles feature a singular cross stitch as a symbol of the work-play intersection that both brands are known for.

And for those who enjoy functional fashion, the collaboration also includes two stylish pieces of apparel that feature Milk’s branding and Reebok’s signature everyday style.

‘Intersection of utility, style, multipurpose fashion and footwear’

In a statement, Rich Dilando, Reebok senior director of product marketing for collaborations and kids’ footwear, told FN: “Milk Makeup quickly became a cult favorite among beauty enthusiasts known for its innovative formulas and clean ingredients. Throughout the years, Milk has been synonymous with inclusivity, versatility, and collaboration.

“With inspiration centered around the idea of work and play, Reebok and Milk share concept continuity in their values and design direction, which are rooted in utility and functionality.”

He added: “This collaboration lives at the intersection of utility, style, multipurpose fashion, and footwear and allows us to engage with a different consumer.

“While we are always looking to bring fans of our partners to the Reebok brand, the Milk partnership is truly unique due to the versatility and vegan positioning for footwear that makes this collaboration relevant for any consumer.”
