Every vegan has experienced many infuriating conversations with a meat-eaters, and they come in all shapes and sizes.

Some people are happy to talk about veganism in a reasonable manner, but more often than not you’re faced with a frustrating mix of belligerent untruths.

Whether you’re met with the aggressive, confrontational, defensive, offended or just downright rude and obnoxious arguments, it can be quite hard to navigate.

Some vegans opt to avoid the discussion altogether to avoid any conflict, while others find it difficult to have a constructive debate without steam firing out of both ears.

But some are better than others at remaining calm, factual and clear in their message – and no better it seems than activist James Aspey.

A conversation between the Australian animal lover and a meat chef have surfaced in which he shows an incredible amount of patience.

Aspey manages to get his point across and be a voice for the animals without losing his temper or verging towards and accusational tone, and it leaves the chef pretty stumped.

See how the conversation unfolded below…
