This amazing teenager, Greta Thunberg, a Swedish climate change activist on a mission to stop global warming practices, is currently being trolled by many adults who don’t agree to her ways.
Undeterred, Thunberg is going strong in her quest and actively participates in international forums to be heard.
As per The Mary Sue report, she was invited to the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York, and as a true blue activist refused to fly to the venue. So, instead, she is sailing from Plymouth to New York on a non-carbon, zero-emissions, 60-foot racing yacht. The trip might take 2 weeks, but she hopes to return in time to attend another climate change conference in September.
She is also keen on attending the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Santiago, Chile this December.
Although most normal adults would appreciate a young activist, some have been blatantly malignant and have trolled her with nasty comments and tweets. Some of them read as:
Still, many environmentally-conscious individuals have supported her and lashed out at the ones who’ve called the teenager out.
Meanwhile, Thunberg travelling on the sailboat, reports that she is not losing sleep over this.
