The hand-crafted range will debut in totally new flavours: Fudge Brownie Bliss, Caramel Choc Delight and Apple Custard Crumble.

US doughnut chain Krispy Kreme is launching three new vegan flavors at its United Kingdom locations on 31 December.

The new indulgent range comes just in time for Veganuary – where people pledge to go vegan for the month.

Made from Krispy Kreme’s light and fluffy dough, the three  mouth-watering vegan treats will be available in Fudge Brownie Bliss (a rich chocolatey filling and topped with brownie pieces), Caramel Choc Delight (contains both Belgian chocolate and indulgent caramel fillings, topped with caramel icing and a chocolatey icing drizzle) and  Apple Custard Crumble (apple and custard filling topped with cinnamon crumble) flavours.

The doughnuts cost £2.35 each and have been certified vegan with The Vegan Society‘s vegan trademark.

UK customers can buy the made-fresh-daily range in store and at all 1280 Krispy Kreme outlets with retail partners including Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA and Sainsbury’s or via delivery partners including Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.

As part of  “a limited time only” deal, customers can also order them online as part of a vegan selection box from 31 December.

The new range joins the brands’ Original Glazed Vegan doughnut which launched earlier this year, and will continue to be available post 30th January, year-round via Nationwide Delivery.

‘Really excited’

Louise Direito is Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland’s Head of Innovation. She said: “We are really excited to bring this range to customers and spread a little joy in January and are confident it delivers on the irresistible taste we are known and loved for whilst being accessible to a broader network of customers.”

Ericka Durgahee, Marketing Manager at The Vegan Society, added: “The Vegan Trademark team are thrilled to see Krispy Kreme expanding their vegan options and making them available across the country.

“They’ve gone the extra mile to verify their vegan claims with the gold standard in vegan labelling. Those looking for a fresh and tasty doughnut can have peace of mind that no animal ingredients have been used in their creation.”
