Tesco has launched its ultimate Vegan Christmas Dinner Box for Two for the festive period following increased demand for meat-free options.
The new meal box follows the launch of two vegan Christmas wraps by the supermarket last month.
Tesco’s festive dinner box is packed with 15 vegan items, including a Wicked Wellington centrepiece made from pea protein and mushroom duxelles.
Customers can enjoy the centrepiece alongside herby stuffing balls and meat-free cocktail bangers.
The box, priced at £35, also has traditional trimmings such as crispy roast potatoes, thyme-roasted carrots, cranberry sauce, and of course, brussels sprouts.
The retailer says it launched the new meal box after its annual report revealed a 45% growth in vegan and vegetarian food and drink products purchased between Christmas 2018 and 2019.
There’s something for everyone

The new meal box is available online from the 13th November through the supermarket’s Festive Food to Order service, or it can be purchased at selected stores from 20th December.
