Vegan singer Billie Eilish has authorized fashion giant H&M to sell her signature oversized silhouettes, and other sustainable merchandise in store and online.

With Veganuary (v)egging people to go vegan for the month of  January and beyond, iconic star, Billie Eilish has kickstarted 2020 by releasing her sustainable Billie Eilish merch collection with H&M.

The line made from sustainably sourced, non-animal-derived materials features 16 items emblazoned with Eilish’s trademark logos and includes printed T-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, bucket hats, a bumbag and oversized sweatshirts available in beige, black and neon green shades.

“The merch features the official logos of the 18-year-old singer-songwriter in oversized silhouettes and all the clothing has been made from materials sourced in a more sustainable way,” reads the company’s website.

Speaking on the collaboration, Emily Bjorkheim, H&M’s head of design for Divided said: “Billie Eilish is obviously an inspiring artist, but also someone a lot of people around the world admire for her personal style and empowering way of expressing her values.

“We want to enable her fans to step into her world and feel empowered to freely express their style as well.”

Green Eilish

The 18-year-old singer is not only a passionate vegan but often uses her platform to speak on climate change, animal welfare, and the need to be eco-friendly.

She is regularly seen urging her 26 million Instagram followers to ditch meat, animal leather and adopt a vegan lifestyle.

For her upcoming tour in March, Billie Eilish intends to make her event ‘as green as possible’ and has got Reverb, a non-profit environmental organization to oversee the arrangements.

“We’re really bringing somebody from Reverb, this firm that principally specialises in the perfect and most wholesome and inexperienced methods to do every little thing,” said Eilish in an interview on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.

“So there’s no plastic straws allowed, the fans are going to bring their own water bottles, there’s going to be recycle cans everywhere, because it’s like, if something’s recyclable, it doesn’t matter unless there’s a recycle bin.”
