Primark launches budget vegan skincare range

Share

For vegans, shopping for skincare products can often mean spending more money. But Primark has now launched a budget vegan skincare range which sets customers back just £10 for a complete set.

The new range called PS…Naturals featured five products – a daily moisturiser, an overnight face mask, face wipes and a balm to oil cleanser.

Primark has been making more effort to launch a more accessible range in recent years. Cruelty Free International gave the budget store its Leaping Bunny logo last year, meaning products are gluten free.

And the new PS…Naturals line does not only avoid any animal products – it is also recognised as cruelty-free as products are created without using any animal testing.

The products all feature The Vegan Society’s trademark symbol, meaning they have gone through rigorous testing to ensure they are 100% vegan.

Products range between £1.50 and £3 and are accompanied by accessories, including an exfoliating mitt, wooden body brush, a body sponge, exfoliating discs, a back exfoliator and a wooden nail brush.

Shoppers can even be sure the accessories are ethically sourced, as the wood is FSC certified as being taken from sustainably managed forests.

Primark says the range is all made using 90% natural ingredients such as organic coconut water.

A spokesman for Primark said: “Many of our customers are looking for products made with more natural ingredients to match their lifestyles.

“We’re excited to provide even more choice for people looking for affordable cosmetics on the high street that not only perform well but are vegan too.”
