You don’t have to go vegan all at once, start out by cutting out individual things, maybe start with meat first. Being vegan is a completely individual experience, you do what feels right. Don’t let other people get in the way of your beliefs. If you still live with your parents it can be kinda tricky but I’ve found that if you sit down with them and tell them that it means a great deal to you they usually come around eventually. You can start cooking your own meals and whatnot. It may be hard to get the food that you want if you still live with your parents but if you get healthy foods they will usually buy it for you. I definitely used a lot of Pinterest and instagram for recipes, still do. You’ll find your staples and after that it’s just about being creative, try new things but don’t overwhelm yourself. My staples include burritos, and burrito shop you can get a veggie burrito with no cheese and despite what you may think, most places don’t use lard in their beans. The beans are super good protein. Also I’ve never found a bagel that wasn’t vegan, just use hummus instead of cream cheese, hummus also packs a lot of protein
