Marks & Spencer has announced an extensive Christmas range including plant-based appetizers, entrees, main courses and desserts.
As we enter autumn, UK supermarkets are releasing details of their festive food ranges, and Marks & Spencer has followed suit with a mouth-watering selection.
M&S’s vegan offer includes vegan no pigs in blankets, a plant-based root vegetable tarte Tatin entrée, a vegan sweet potato sandwich with chestnut and cranberry roast and a dark chocolate and cherry dessert.
Customers will also have plenty of gluten-free options and an extensive range of mince pies and party food items to choose from.
The food range goes on sale in stores and online from September 25, so customers will be able to sample most of the goodies by the end of this month.
The company said: “M&S is this year launching its first full vegan Christmas dinner with a mouth-watering plant protein centrepiece, vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy, stuffing and even no pigs in duvets (plant protein pigs in blankets).
“Having listened to the feedback of over 80,000 customers, M&S has created the ULTIMATE range designed to help you and your families enjoy Christmas by taking out some of the most angst-inducing elements of Christmas entertaining.”
Vegan customers now have several options to choose from as Tesco, Waitrose, and Asda have announced special festive vegan ranges.
