‘We are thrilled to have opened our latest restaurant and look forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy our delicious plant-based burgers’
This week, vegan burger restaurant Neat Burger announced the opening of its new branch in Camden Market.
The new branch follows the fast food restaurant’s first site in Mayfair last year. The brand as part of its “aggressive” growth plans for 2020 aims to launch another 14 stores within the next two years.
Neat Burger is backed by Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton, in collaboration with hospitality organisation The Cream Group, and Tommaso Chiabra-UNICEF Ambassador and early backer of Beyond Meat.
‘Positively impacting’
The new restaurant located at Lock place, having previously agreed a deal with landlord LabTech spans 500 sq ft and boasts a “cool”, plant-inspired design.
Commenting on the choice of location, Jordan Rocca, co-founder of Neat Burger, said: “Camden Market is the ideal location from which to expand the brand.
“As the world’s first plant-based sustainable burger chain, we are committed to championing environmental sustainability and playing our part in positively impacting the environment.
“We are thrilled to have opened our latest restaurant in a location and with a landlord that shares our ethos, and look forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy our delicious plant-based burgers.”
‘Brilliant addition to our food offering’
“Neat Burger is a brilliant addition to our food offering at Camden Market,” added Maggie Milosavljevic, LabTech’s F&B commercial director.
“This is a distinct business and now more than ever, consumers care about where their food is sourced from and its impact on the environment.
“Our choice of operators has to evolve and adapt to consumer trends and working with Neat Burger is evidence that Camden is changing. We have seen a growing level of footfall and brands such as Neat Burger create additional reasons for consumers to continue to enjoy our thriving North London market.”
Neat Burger’s menu
The fast food chain’s menu will be based around its own plant-based patty made from ingredients sourced from Beyond Meat’s plant-based burger range and includes the Big Stack featuring Double Neat meat patty, triple bun, lettuce, onions, pickles, and tangy big stack sauce; Chick’n Burger featuring crispy chicken patty, lettuce, and tangy mayo; Neat Dog featuring hot dog, grilled red onions, mustard, ketchup, mayo, crispy onions, and pickles and two variants of fries.
While Camden’s Neat Burger open 10am-8pm, seven days a week will offer in-house dining, it has also partnered Deliveroo for delivery and takeaway orders.
The restaurant to celebrate the opening of its second branch gave away 500 free burgers at its new location on the first day.
